This eco-friendly initiative, crafted in harmony with Dubai’s hospitality sector, aims to bolster the tourism industry’s pursuit of green objectives, harmonizing with the broader UAE’s NetZero 2050 goal.
The recognition system comprises three distinctions: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Hotels keen to showcase their green efforts can send in their applications from August 3, 2023, through August 31, 2023.
Here’s your step-by-step guide to apply:
- Access Dubai Tourism’s Classification portal with your establishment credentials.
- Navigate to “Applications” for previous or new application options.
- Select “Create New Application”.
- In the “Category” and “Type”, choose: Sustainability Application.
- Input the details of the person representing Sustainability, ensuring fields like First Name, Last Name, and Email are filled.
- Proceed by clicking “Next”, noting there’s zero fee for this process.
- Review the 19 criteria under 5 key Sustainability Practice Aspects, and move to the next step.
- For each criterion met, upload the necessary documents and evidences, while also leaving any pertinent comments.
- After ensuring all criteria are covered, finalize by clicking “Submit”.
After submission, rest assured your application is in queue for assessment.
