 The Ministry of Municipality in Doha, UAE has unveiled an upgraded list of 15 beaches, featuring new facilities and enhanced services for visitors. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve public spaces, making beaches and parks more accessible, comfortable, and environmentally friendly.

• Al Maroona Beach
• Arida Beach
• Al Ferkiah Beach
• Simaisma Beach
• Al Wakra Beach
• Sealine Beach
• Al Adaid Beach
• Al Mamlaha Beach (for women)
• Al Ghariya Beach
• Zikrit Beach
• Dukan Beach
• Umm Bab Beach
• Al Kharaij Beach (for singles)
• Salwa Beach

New Facilities & Sustainable Upgrades

These beaches now feature:

• Walkways and shaded areas for a relaxing experience
• Permanent toilets and kiosks for visitor convenience
• BBQ areas and children’s play zones for families
• Volleyball and football courts for sports enthusiasts

Beach Safety & Environmental Guidelines

To preserve these natural spaces, the Ministry has issued key safety and environmental guidelines:

• No open fires directly on the sand to prevent environmental damage
• Dispose of waste in designated bins to keep beaches clean
• Wear lifeguard jackets while swimming for safety
